Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Yellow Fields and Hills” by Clayton Peoples. Location: Carrizo Plain National Monument, California.

“In 2017, Carrizo Plain National Monument experienced a ‘superbloom’ of epic proportions: flowers covered the plain, the hills and the mountainsides in rich yellow, orange and purple colors. In this particular photo, I tried to ensure that yellow dominated the scene. The yellow flowers in the foreground lead up to hillsides and mountains splashed in predominantly yellow. It was an unforgettable bloom.”
