‘Indian Boundary Lake With Snow’ by Connie Szabo Schmucker
Today’s Photo of the Day was submitted to the Colors Coming Through Assignment by Connie Szabo Schmucker who used a Kodak P850 and Circular Polarizing Filter to get the shot.
“A rare late October snowstorm hit the Cherokee National Forest and Indiana Boundary Lake area, creating a wonderful juxtaposition of fall colors at their peak and snow covered trees. The mist from the lake added to the uniqueness of the scene. It was a winter wonderland,” says Schmucker.
Photo of the Day is chosen from various OP galleries, including Assignments, Your Favorite Places and the OP Contests. Assignments have weekly winners that are featured on the OP website homepage and several images from the Assignment Gallery are featured in The Best Of Assignments section in print. To get your photos in the running, all you have to do is submit them.
