Photo Of The Day By Dan Mitler
Today’s Photo of the Day is “Galaxtree” by Dan Mitler.
“An enormous field of Joshua Trees, unique to the Mojave Desert region, unfolds beneath the arch of the early season Milky Way band,” describes Mitler. “Shot quickly as a multi-image panorama in the 20 minutes in between moonset and the beginning of twilight, the biggest challenge was finding the ‘right’ Joshua Tree to shoot, navigating using only moonlight.”
