Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Blue Heron Pair Bonding” by David Connel. Location: Lake Texoma, Oklahoma.
“My go-to nature spot is a short drive from my house to Lake Texoma, on the border between Texas and Oklahoma,” explains Connel. “I have kayaked on the lake for decades, photographing the wildlife, especially the bird rookeries I’ve discovered through the years. This is one of my favorite images of a pair of courting blue herons.”
