“Frosty Bison” By David Hartfield
Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Frosty Bison” Photo By David Hartfield.
“In the middle of winter, this bison is covered with frost from the mist of a nearby geyser that froze on him,” says Hartield. “He stared me down for just a second and I realized he wanted to walk down the road I was standing on. I quickly gave him the right-a-way.”
Photo of the Day is chosen from various OP galleries, including Assignments, Your Favorite Places and the OP Contests. Assignments have weekly winners that are featured on the OP website homepage and several images from the Assignment Gallery are picked to be featured in The Best Of Assignments section in the print magazine. To get your photos in the running, all you have to do is submit them.
