Photo Of The Day By Dawn Wilson
Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Out Of The Shadows” by Dawn Wilson. Location: Yosemite National Park, California.
“I had been traveling around several states looking for bobcats to photograph for several months,” said Wilson. “While in Yosemite National Park to photograph the firefall event, I literally ran into this bobcat while walking on a trail. He felt the trails were the best places to easily navigate the park as well. I spent several hours photographing this beautiful cat—through the trees, into the meadows, hunting for voles, getting chased by deer and resting in the shade of trees. It was a wonderful afternoon.”
Photo of the Day is chosen from various OP galleries, including Assignments, Your Favorite Places and the OP Contests. Assignments have weekly winners that are featured on the OP website and social media. To get your photos in the running, all you have to do is submit them.
