“I really liked this particular overlook in the gorge,” says Arnet. “It was only about a mile or so from the Eagle Creek trailhead. Despite the easy access, on most early summer mornings you had it to yourself. It was special because it provided a drone-like view of Metlako Falls while standing on the ground. The reason why I describe this place in the past tense is that it’s literally not there anymore. A massive portion of the edge of the canyon where the viewpoint was split off and tumbled down into the creek! So even though this particular composition is gone forever, a new one was created.”

Equipment: Canon T3i, Canon EF 28-105mm, Slik Pro 340DX.
