Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Mount Shasta” by John Rogers. Location: Shasta Wildlife Refuge, California.
“Shasta Wildlife Refuge near Montague, California, is one of the many areas in Siskiyou County that have a wonderful view of Mount Shasta,” said Rogers, “which stands a little over 14,180 feet and looms as a beautiful beacon all over Siskiyou County. This is one of my favorite spots for shooting this majestic mountain.”
Photo of the Day is chosen from various OP galleries, including Assignments, Your Favorite Places and the OP Contests. Assignments have weekly winners that are featured on the OP website homepage and several images from the Assignment Gallery are picked to be featured in The Best Of Assignments section in the print magazine. To get your photos in the running, all you have to do is submit them.
