Photo Of The Day By Joshua Moore

Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Winter’s Stream” by Joshua Moore. Location: Roan Mountain, Tennessee.
“It was the first snowfall of 2020 here in eastern Tennessee,” says Moore. “Roan Mountain was getting hammered over night along with temperatures dropping to 10 degrees. My buddy Scott and I arrived around 5 a.m. We had planned on shooting a sunrise from the Appalachian Trail on Jane Bald, but due to extremely high winds and extremely low temperatures, we opted to play it safe and wonder around Carvers Gap. Coming down the mountain back into Tennessee, we came across the small stream that flowed down one side of the mountain. Everything around this stream was frozen, and the stream still had a good flow to it.”
