Photo Of The Day By Katherine Plessner
Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Tall Dunes” by Katherine Plessner. Location: Great Sand Dunes National Monument, Colorado.
“As we were driving and looking at our maps, we decided to stop for a visit at this out-of-the-way place, and were very glad we did!” said Plessner. “The dunes were spectacular and fun to climb. I took this photo of the others ahead of me to help show the impressive size of these amazing dunes.”
Photo of the Day is chosen from various OP galleries, including Assignments, Your Favorite Places and the OP Contests. Assignments have weekly winners that are featured on the OP website homepage and several images from the Assignment Gallery are picked to be featured in The Best Of Assignments section in the print magazine. To get your photos in the running, all you have to do is submit them.
