Photo Of The Day By Kris Walkowski
Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Equinox Light” by Kris Walkowski. Location: Yosemite National Park, California.
“This beam of light shining straight onto Bridalveil Falls at sunset may be visible only during Spring Equinox, which takes place at the end of March, for only several days,” explains Walkowski. “I was very fortunate to witness this on the first day of spring. The sky was overcast, but nature found its way to shine the light on this glorious falls for a few minutes. My patience was rewarded.”

Photo of the Day is chosen from various OP galleries, including Assignments, Galleries and the OP Contests. Assignments have weekly winners that are featured on the OP website homepage, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. To get your photos in the running, all you have to do is submit them.
