Photo Of The Day By Matthew Morrissette
Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Rocky Mountain Gold” by Matthew Morrissette. Location: Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.
“I spent the weekend before the Fourth of July in Rocky Mountain National Park,” says Morrissette. “You really never know what the light is going to do when you visit the park for sunset, and I certainly wasn’t expecting to be saturated in gold. Thunderheads were forming above, and the sun was leaking in under the clouds, and then there was a rainbow over Long’s Peak.”

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV. Exposure: 25 sec., f/16, ISO 200.
