Photo of The Day by Patricia Davidson
Reflected Light by Patricia Davidson
Patricia Davidson’s Reflected Light photo was submitted to the recent Close To Home Assignment. Davidson took the photo near Bandon on the southern Oregon coast. “I spent the evening photographing during sunset with friends,” Davidson writes. “It was a minus tide which was nice for the many compositions we could photograph due to the exposed rocks and the pools of water. The iconic Face Rock is always fun to try and capture during a low tide. Bandon is about 25 miles from where I live and I often go. I never get tired it it.”
I choose the OP Photo Of The Day from the various OP galleries including Assignments, Your Favorite Places and all of the OP Contests. Also, for each issue of the magazine I go through the Assignments galleries and choose a few to be featured in The Best Of Assignments in print and I select a weekly winner to be featured on the OP home page. To get your photos into the running all you have to do is submit them.
