How To Photograph The Milky Way
Panoramas are one of the most fun and dramatic ways of capturing the Milky Way.
Vincent Laforet & X-Rite i1XTreme
“The i1Xtreme calibrates everything in my studio: monitors, printers, projectors, scanners and cameras. Calibrating the display is probably the single most important part so that I can guarantee that the vision I had in the field translates into the end result. This image was taken in Wiamea, on the Big Island of Hawaii. We had about fifteen minutes where the sun broke through the really heavy cloud cover, and the horse just radiated this golden light. By having a completely calibrated workflow, I was able to deliver the best quality image possible. The i1Xtreme is absolutely essential for the way I work.” — Vincent LaForet
