Today’s Photo Of The Day is Waterfall And Maple Leaves by Laura Zirino. Location: Zion National Park, Utah.
“This was my first trip to Zion National Park to shoot the fall, and I was blown away by how beautiful it was,” recalls Zirino. “On the third day, it rained all morning. Around noon waterfalls started pouring from the cliffs. I wasn’t sure how to get to them, so I took the Emerald Pools trail to see what I would find. I arrived just as the falls were at their peak. I wanted a different perspective, so when I saw a stand of beautiful maples on a hill near the trail, I climbed up and shot the falls through the leaves. This waterfall only lasted about 20 minutes. By the time I was done shooting, it had diminished to half this volume.”
