While studying abroad in Kimana, Kenya, I noticed small yellow birds fluttering through the bushes at one corner of my campus. I followed them and found this male vitelline masked-weaver working on his nest. Throughout the rest of my time there I noticed more and more nests appearing in these bushes. Reading more about these birds, I learned they create many nests, some to act as decoys against predators.
