ColorTexturePhotoTours provides exceptional, all-inclusive photography adventures for photographers of all skill levels in Costa Rica, Oregon, Olympic National Park, and Eastern Washington. All photo tours are of the highest caliber and include spectacular landscapes, award-winning hotels, great food, private transportation, and professional photography and Lightroom assistance. Our Costa Rica photo tours also feature hundreds of species of tropical flowers and exotic wildlife. All our tours are small – only four spots available per tour – which ensures that each client is given the utmost attention and assistance in creating better images.

All tours are created and led by Scott Setterberg, an award-winning professional photographer with 30 years of landscape photography experience. Scott has been published in Outdoor Photographer, Nature Photographer, Huffington Post, and other publications, and is a member of the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA). Scott’s images have been exhibited in dozens of art galleries and juried fine art festivals throughout the United States, Costa Rica, and Asia and are held in private collections worldwide. Our Costa Rica photo tours also include a professional Costa Rican nature guide whose knowledge of Costa Rica’s history, locations, wildlife, and flora and fauna is unmatched.

Our photo tour season begins in Costa Rica with the Costa Rica Landscapes, Pura Vida Costa Rica, and Colors of Costa Rica photo tours. Each tour explores different regions and is offered three times during Costa Rica’s high season between January and April when the weather is fantastic. All tours include jaw-dropping jungle rivers, gorgeous lakes, mysterious cloud forests, spectacular waterfalls, rustic bridges, colorful wildlife, and breathtaking sunsets.

Returning to the United States, we dive into the Eastern Washington Photo Tour and photograph the rolling farmlands of The Palouse, ancient lakes and hidden waterfalls, gorgeous bluffs and breathtaking sunsets along the mighty Columbia River, soaring columnar basalt cliffs, vivid wildflowers, and sensational Palouse Falls. 

The Central Oregon Coast Photo Tour features sensational landscapes along the Central Oregon Coast including beautiful beaches, towering sea stacks, historic lighthouses, vibrant tide pools, stunning sunsets, and wonderful waterfalls.  This tour is offered three times throughout the year.

The Oregon Extravaganza Photo Tour is also offered three times and explores three of the Seven Wonders of Oregon including the dazzling Columbia River Gorge, gigantic Mt. Hood and the fantastic Oregon Coast, as well as eight of the best waterfalls in Oregon, beautiful beaches and sea stacks, and sparkling lakes, rivers, and streams.

In October, we embrace autumn with the Oregon Fall Colors Photo Tour. This tour features two of the Seven Wonders of Oregon – the Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Hood – as well as eleven outstanding waterfalls, glassy lakes and rushing streams, all during peak fall color season.

We end the year with the 9-day, 8-night Oregon Coast Photo Tour. The magnificent Oregon Coast is one of the Seven Wonders of Oregon, and we photograph dramatic seascapes, impressive beaches, stunning sea stacks, colorful tide pools, original lighthouses, gorgeous sunsets, and incredible waterfalls.
