What sets my photo workshops apart from the rest?
I believe that in order to truly enjoy your time and get the most out of a photography tour and/or workshop you need to have small groups, and a very high ratio of instructors to participants. Most of my workshops are small intimate affairs, typically no more than 8 participants and 2 photo instructors and/or local naturalists. This ensures that you get plenty of instruction and that you maximize your learning experience.
My workshops are ALL INCLUSIVE, meaning that from the time we pick you up at the airport to when we drop you off on your way home we take care of everything: transportation, meals, lodging, permits, everything. The prices on my workshops are all inclusive, so you don’t encounter any surprises.
My passion is wildlife and nature, even on my cultural trips to Cuba, I sneak in a bit of wildlife and nature. To me, the experience is just as important as the photography. Long after you arrive home from a photo workshop I want you to remember your time in the field with me as a great adventure. Yes our focus on the trips is photography, but I make sure that your experience on the trip is just as, if not more memorable.
I’m always scouting new destinations, but I have favorite locations that I run regularly. These include Yellowstone in the winter, spring and fall, the inside passage in Alaska, Costa Rica, Acadia National Park, Cuba and many more.
It is my policy to lead photo workshops only in locations in which we are intimately familiar. I believe this is essential for maximizing our photographic opportunities and for providing you a memorable experience.
