This is another spot I had photographed for years. My photograph on this page of the bloom at Anza Borrego State Park was taken this same spring and it was one of the wettest winters locals in both areas had seen. The lupin and other flowers (to many to list here) were as thick as I had ever witnessed. While camping nearby I was hoping for some clouds for the morning shoot. Obviously it didn't happen and with the time I had available I was happy enough with this photo. I find at times so many variables to work with when shooting landscapes.
