We didnt have much snow for the 2011 season here in NY. One day in October however, we had gotten a good amount of snow. The next day I just knew I had to get out and get some shots. I traveled to Bear Mountain State Park about an hour away from my house looking for some shots. I searched near and far for a good shot of the snow yet much to my dismay the snow had already started melting into a soupy, muddy mess. I packed my gear and started heading home. On the way back I was suprised to find this shot at a scenic overlook facing Bear Mountain on the other side of the Hudson River. It turns out the cold snow mixed with the warmer temperatures had created this gourgous scene of the park encrusted in a blue, dreamy, hazy fog.
