The beach from the town of Oceanside, OR, is easily accessible. It is long, with several sea stacks just off of the beach, affording plenty of photography opportunities. Being on the west coast, the rising sun lights up the top of the stacks. Late afternoon light silhouettes the stacks and lights up the cliffs behind the beach. Be very careful with a tripod on the beach, though, as a little amount of water can undercut the legs and send your camera tumbling into the saltwater. I speak from experience.
