By boat on Lake George to Log Bay. Hike east about 1/4 mile. By car head north on Buttermilk Pond Road off of Route 149 for approximately 9 miles until a marked trailhead. Hike 1/2 mile west.
The falls is only about 75 feet high, but it is made up of many rocks and crevices so you have both full and close-up opportunities. The falls faces west, so the best time is in the morning before about 10am when the sun starts to take over the scene.
