The Human Perspective On Double Arch

A 400-yard trail from the parking lot leads to the two arches. The larger opening is 163 feet long and 105 feet high. The smaller arch has a 60-foot span is 61 feet high.

It’s one thing to see the arches and to be in awe of the magnitude of the sandstone formations; it is another thing to photograph the arches with a sense of perspective and scale. I titled this night long exposure - Human Perspective on Double Arch. Photographer Brad Goldpaint stood under one of the double arches. Brad waved a flashlight to illuminate himself during the long exposure. I still can’t get over how tiny he looks compared to this natural wonder.
