A shot from Derbyshire Peak District National Park. The area is called Nether Padley which is in the Hope Valley. The gorge where this shot is from handles a hell of a lot of water through year which runs of the mountains around the top of the valley. This shot was taken in late March, so there was a lot of ice around still. I stood in the river for this shot, man have i got to buy some decent boots, my feet where frozen, thankfully the 2 hour drive home thawed me out. The area is a real treasure and worth a visit almost anytime of the year, Autumn sees the heathers and fast changing light through more than often storm clouds.
