Description
An ice storm and snow left the trees and branches of Jefferson Memorial Forest glistening in the sun's early evening afterglow. The hard part was trying to capture the rainbow of colors in the forest, along with the glimmering ice in the forest that looked like a magical winter wonderland. It was trail and error to get the right exposure against nature's clock. I used Lightroom and PhotoTools to post process the image.
