I was shooting at Ludington State Park for the first time, spending the last hour of the day on the beach. The cloud cover was picking up and I wasn't sure if the sun would be visible for sunset. I waited for the blazing light to happen when the sun went down. Leaving me wanting more the light faded and was gone. I folded up my tripod, grabbed my bag and began walking back down the small sand dune away from the lake. Only making it 150 feet before I turned and found the clouds on fire with light. Quickly turning back thinking about missing this opportunity, driving all this way, I ran back to the top of the dune capturing this picture and many more before the light faded again. Lesson Learned.
