I created a wildflower garden earlier this year - spreading a packet of a variety of wildflower seeds you buy in most any home improvement store. I wasn't sure what would grow and bloom, so it was exciting to see the variety of blooms throughout the summer. I would visit the garden with my camera different times of the day, different days of the week to see how lucky I would be at being able to capture the new flowers to bloom and the variety of insects that would visit the garden, attracted by the bright colored blooms. This is some sort of morning glory as this flower mostly bloomed in the mornings. It was remarkable - beautifully colored with almost painted on with an artist stroke. This bee loved the flower too and curled around the flower stamen, bathing in the pollen.
