Sunset, Grand Canyon

I waited patiently for the sun to cast its evening glow on the buttes as seen from Hopi Point on the South Rim. I was pleased with the contrast of the mustard colored buttes with the deeper hues of magenta and violet of their neighbors. I also included a good bit of the interesting sky, which added to the glow of the scene. No matter how many times you go to the Grand Canyon and, in spite of the plethora of photographs, nature never quite repeats itself.
