From San José drive to Quepos and just half an hour after Quepos one will find Manuel Antonio Beach. Manuel Antonio is very famous and anyone can tell a tourist how to get there. Since Manuel Antonio is part of a national park, one has to pay a fee to get in. In dollars it is not expensive at all.
I was sitting at a table "guarding" food and I sensed someone was looking at me. I knew instantly it was a Capuchin Monkey. Slowly I turned around and shot the picture. Even with the flash light, he did not leave immediately.
This picture was shot at Manuel Antonio Beach on April 2006. I used a flash and a focal length of 155 mm. The aperture is F/5.6 and the exposure time 1/100 sec.
