Description

Hiking in the Schulman Grove of the Bristlecone Pine Forest I encountered this snarled tree that appeared to have been hit by lightning. The background showed signs of a storm forming up in the direction of Nevada. As can be seen, this tree does not have much base support, yet is standing straight as if by some miracle it was held erect?
