This shot is from a trip I could easily title, be careful what you wish for. I made a return trip to Botany Bay, hoping to capture an image here during high tide. Due to recent flooding in the area, and a high tide that coincided with a full moon, the beach at Botany Bay and most of the half-mile trailhead, was underwater. Realizing that this could be my only chance on this trip to photograph here, I started out on the trailhead, and waded through the water until I found a downed tree trunk large enough to hold me and my tripod. I returned the following morning to discover that the park was closed due to dangerous high tides and flooding.
