In my photography of the wild, I try to look for raw areas which are not easy to access and which were not modified by the mankind. Based on my experience, I also know that when looking for something extraordinary, something “bigâ€, the small things which are only apparently unoriginal may be unnoticed whereas such things can be a fantastic photography idea. Before taking this photo, I looked for trees covered with autumn leaves. While walking with my head up among numerous ponds in southwest Poland, I realized that on that given day, the conditions for photographing autumn were not favourable. The sky was too bright and the wind was too strong to take the right photo. At the shore however the water in one of the ponds was calm and created an interesting reflection accenting the season of the year.
