I was following the storm for several hours, my prime location for shooting wasn't available. There was a sand storm and visibility was maybe 10 feet... so I went to 4 different locations and I found this spot not too far from the original spot where I experienced the most intense and fascinating earthquake a few years ago... I was searching for a good composition and challenge presented was a desert with thousands of blooming flowers. The weather wasn't very cooperative; wind was at 30-40 miles/h and I saw from the distance a "wall" of rain.. after a few minutes I took this shot with the best light of the situation... This desert always surprises me with something special!
