Pichilemu is on the Pacific Coast of Chile, some 220 miles from Santiago, the capital city of Chile. To get there you need to take the old Panamerican Higway (now privatised and called Ruta 5) south from Santiago up to the city of San Fernando, and exit to the right and continue westbound some 100 km until you reach the sea.

Pichilemu is an old fishing port on the Pacific, south of Santiago de Chile. It's been on a steep decline for decades until it was brought back into fashion by surfers from all over the world that flock here in summer (Dec-Jan-Feb) and still keep comming all year long. I took the shot on April 2nd, 2016 at 19:38 hours standing on a hill overlooking the beach.
