Woke up at 6am, took a 45 minute drive to the overlook in pitch black. When the sun started coming up I could barely see the mountains through the fog. Fortunately, visibility improved some, but these aren't quite as sharp as I'd like due to the fog. I was on a tight schedule in order to get back to the hotel to pack up. Only got to shoot for about 15 minutes before I had to turn around. While driving back to Jackson, the fog got worse. I got lucky that I decided to go all the way to the overlook, otherwise the early morning would have been in vain! Not to mention, it was -10 degrees out. COLD morning!
