Pavliani is a village on Mount Oeta, and a former community in Phthiotis, Greece. It is divided into two settlements, Pavliani proper or Ano Pavliani and Nea Pavliani or Kato Pavliani. It is located in dense fir forest and today is a rapidly growing tourist. It is built at an altitude of 1,040 meters on the slopes of Oiti and is one of the most mountainous settlements in the prefecture of Fthiotida. Pavliani was the seat of the community until 31 December 2010, when it was abolished with the implementation of the Kallikratis program and joined the enlarged Municipality of Lamia. Its population, according to the 2011 census, is 498 inhabitants. The Municipality of Pavliani consists of the settlements.
