GREAT BLUE

Nearest Area
Lakeland
Description
The great blue heron is a fairly common siting in the wetlands of central Florida. Wading birds serve as ecological indicator species for the health of a wetland ecosystem - wetlands that recharge the drinking water and serve as vital habitat for many species of plants and wildlife. Through wildlife and conservation photography, I attempt to educate and inspire the public towards conservation practices.
