Take an hour and half flight from Yangon to Heho airport and drive for half an hour to Inle Lake.
The Inle Lake in the state of Shan in Myanmar is rich in biodiversity and is source of livelihood to the local communities. Communities sustain their lives from fishing which has given rise to their unique culture and practices. Their traditional method to fishing is by using basket woven from local plant specie and used to trap fish from the Inle Lake. On this day as I rowed into the lake the day was overcast with clouds. Rain clouds hovered above. I approached one of the Shan fisherman trying his catch. All of a sudden a beam of sun pierced the dark clouds and fell on the fisherman. This was when I took my shot.
