This image was taken in late September in Bear Rock Preserve just outside the eastern edge of the Dolly Sods Wilderness in West Virginia. This location is known for it's blueberry and huckleberry bushes that turn red in the fall. The leaves weren't quite red on this particular morning but it was quite still (as in no wind) which is very unusual for this location. This allowed for much longer exposures with the bushes in the foreground. I loved the glow of the coming dawn matched with the blueberry and huckleberry bushes.
