We were fortuitous when driving into Jackson from Casper to come across these two just over the Continental Divide near the Grand Tetons. They were content to lounge in the snow on a hillside for a while about 150 yards away. Then the mother woke her cub and after playing for a bit, they rambled down the hillside right towards over 100 tourists all happily snapping away from the road. Fortunately we were all on a slight overpass and the bears didn't seem to care we were there at all. Eventually, they were both about 30 yards from me.
