Colorado's Wet Mountain Valley is known for crazy weather systems forming suddenly and without warning. Flanked to the West by the 14,000+ ft high peaks of the Rockies and by the Wet Mountains to the East, this long and narrow valley is notorious for catching everyone by surprise. Just like a few days ago, when this vicious - but very photogenic - storm developed out of nowhere and started rolling through the valley from West to East. Springtime in the Rockies...
