The 1969 Woodstock Rock Festival in Bethel, New York attracted an audience of more than 400,000 people over the three days in which the event was held. Not far from the madding crowd at that location at the time, lies a small farm with a pond. On the day that I was there, I saw a variety of water fowl on, and around the pond. But the big attraction for me on that day, was a pair of Mute Swans. As they gracefully paddled their way atop the water's surface, I captured this photo of the pair during a quiet moment of togetherness.
