Fish Creek Falls is one of Steamboat Springs most iconic hiking destinations. The beauty of this hike, is the main fall is only about .3 miles from the start of the trailhead. Since I got to Steamboat later in the summer, it wasn't flowing as hard as it was weeks prior. This area is usually covered with adventure seeking hikers that brave the flowing water and hard to navigate landscape to get an upclose view of it. I was lucky to get there at a time when there weren't a lot of people around. This made it easy to get set up and capture some great long exposures without having to try and work around hikers.
