Raven & Waterfall Yosemite After a heavy snowfall over night, the sky began to clear early that morning. The temperature was near zero Fahrenheit on the valley floor. It was probably ten degrees colder than that up on the cliffs causing the water to turn to snow as it plummeted over the rim. A gentle breeze from time to time would catch the falling snow making it drift. While this was happening a raven flew into view. Filtered sunlight through the early morning mist gave the waterfall a warm glow. I captured the image on Fuji Provia 100F film.
