An early morning shoot out at the lower twin lake in Bridgeport. The air was warmer than the dew point temperature so it caused a steam fog to occur than brought to mind the title of the song by Deep Purple, "Smoke On The Water."
The peaks rising above the lake are part of the Sawtooth ridge with the Matterhorn peak on the far left, the Dragtooth, the Sawblade, Cleaver Peak and Blacksmith peak also being visible. The mountain to their right I believe is Mt Walt.
The twin lakes have some of the best trout fishing in the eastern Sierra Nevada and there are some great public campgrounds and a couple very nice privately owned camp grounds to stay at as well.
