This bridge spans the Red River between Grayson County, Texas and Bryan County, Oklahoma. Built in 1910 it originally served as railroad bridge. The pathway on the right side was primarily for foot and horse traffic. As of 2009 or perhaps a little later, you could still drive across the main section on the left. Now, the wooden planked section is far too unstable. The vehicle side is blocked off but still suitable for foot traffic. I actually learned about the bridge from another photograph on this site. It was posted by a photographer named Jerry Hunter on May 27, 2009.
