Along the northern shores of the Upper Peninsula in Michigan.
This is Crisp Point Lighthouse in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It's a small lighthouse that sits on the rocky shore of Lake Superior. It's a little difficult to get to as you have to travel a one-way winding, hilly dirt road. The 11 miles takes approximately 1 hr. to travel, but it's so worth it. Crisp Point is stunning. For this shot, I chose to shoot it through these wild daisies growing up the cliff's side. When shooting something so iconic that has been literally photographed thousands of times before, I look for the unique. These daisies with this sky and this lighting will never be exactly the same...that's a win for me!
