Heading Up Hill

Stay on US 14. Between Cody and the east entrance to Yellowstone is where you will see wildlife (Bighorn Sheep, Bison, Elk) alongside US 14. If you see cars parked on the side of the road, there is a good chance you will be able to take some photos there. You will see more cars on the weekends than during the week. You really have to keep your eyes open during the week to be able to spot some of these animals.

The Bighorn Sheep in the group were leaving the area, so this was the last shot I was able to get. I'm planning on going to this area again next week. I've been told that some of the bigger Rams from Yellowstone are beginning to show up alongside US 14 between Cody and Yellowstone, more so closer to Yellowstone and Wapiti. There is a chance some Elk herds will show up.
