It started to drizzle just as I arrived at Oakland Lake here in New York City. I have not shot in the rain in a while so I went out and enjoyed the quieter park. The smaller birds had left the trees and bushes near the trail around the lake as there appeared to be a track practice yet the water fowl were undisturbed. As I walked around the lake I took opportunities to take photos of the ducks and then the sun broke through producing some stunning gap light. I tried many locations and angles trying to finds ones that showed the attractive light and rain glowing orange from the setting sun. This image was the most successful at capturing the golden rain.
