Brief Directions
About 10 - 15 miles before you reach Gardiner on US 89 coming from Livingston, there is a road that crosses the Yellowstone river over to the Gardiner Valley. This road will take you to the northern entrance to the park. You will just have to keep an eye out for this road. There is a bridge that crosses the river, which should make it easy to spot this road.
Description
At the back of this shot is one tall Bison. It wasn't until I was home that I noticed how tall it was relative to the other Bison. I didn't notice when I took the shot. This shot was taken outside of Yellowstone in the valley near Gardner, MT. This is where many of the wild life have left Yellowstone due to the large snow fall this year.
